Statistics show that the most of the sexual encounters between two adult people, who have not seen each other before that moment, take place thanks to online dating sites. These dating web sites are nowadays the easiest and most comfortable way for people to set up sexual encounters.
The percentage of women that say they prefer getting to know men rather on a dating site than from a bar is over 76%, while the percentage of men is approximately 82%.
This means that traditional matching methods are not the same as they were some time ago, as human history shows. It’s not surprising that men have joined this new kind of mating rituals, what really is surprising is that women are now joining it too as they never did before.
In addition to this shocking detail, it is also known that over 60% of women between the ages of 18 and 24 say they have met a strange man more than 3 times during the last year, and that they have met them precisely from online dating sites. Some 10 years ago, the percentage was 200% less.
What this tells us is that it is a lot easier and more practical for MEN to find romance today in comparison with the past years. The negative has transformed into positive since then and more and more women agree now to have a casual sexual encounter than it was ever before.
Dating web sites have changed a lot the old panorama of dating. Today, it is unforgivable even for the shyest of men not having sex, because it is so much easy for women and men to find a sex partner just by entering an online dating site. It takes very little effort and “opening line” requirements!
The first way of communication between the most of the couples that access these online dating services is e-mailing and/or instant messaging, of course, after they have seen each other’s photos in the profiles. The next step would normally be talking on the phone or web cam activities (sexual and not necessarily sexual), if the internet dating service allows it.
All these mating rituals, in their turn, which is shocking indeed, don’t take more than ONE hour! It is understandable, however, because the reasons why the both of them are there are clear enough. There is no sense in wasting time to talk when the both of them are just looking for a sex partner. This is a new sexual revolution we come to face today.
