Yet another funny topic that focuses on people dating within a specific area. Business dating is an interesting thing to do, especially if you are fighting over one woman with another employee, not only can this hurt your business relationship with someone else, but it can most definitely jeopardize your job in many ways. When you think of this topic, you really think about your boss “hooking up” with the woman, but it’s not always the case. Bosses can actually become pretty jealous if they are single and they can definitely take it out on you by performing an action that can in fact jeopardize your job. While the facts may add up that dating within your business can be a healthy one, it doesn’t always work out the way we want it.
A relationship is something that should be special and business should be separate from pleasure, that’s a large, known fact. Since a relationship is something that should be shared amongst two people who feel the same about each other, discussing your business on a date could become a huge turn off, so that’s another thing you should look not to do.

Conflict of interest is the main reason people do not date within their business. I myself might feel a bit uncomfortable if I dated within my business, especially if I was intimate with the person. Would you naturally look at that person the same way when you are working with them? If you are a boss and you are dating someone within your business, you’d really have to watch how you treated that person over other people also. Since the “conflict of interest” part of the relationship would potentially hurt other employees, this is why many people do not date within their business. While the percentages add up that many people leave relationships and dating outside of work, it does pan out to be a good thing at times. If you are an easy going person with a naturally good personality, you may not have any problems whatsoever. Depending on the person you are will determine your outcome and I wish you all luck.
